Graduate Joblessness: Conviction for Entrepreneurship Studies in Library and Information Science Programme of Nigerian Tertiary Institutions

Purpose: The purpose of the study was to understand what Nigerian graduates are passing through, most especially graduate library and information science programme tertiary institutions. 
 Findings: statistics unemployed in Nigeria as at 2011 showed that a disheartening figure 42.7 million with over 1,8 churned out our higher institutions yearly. It further revealed unemployment rate stood 38 percent 2013 increase expected succeeding years. slow economic growth undeveloped private sector, faulty manpower planning, high expectations fresh attitude towards some types jobs, recruitments, quest for education, inadequate educational curricular, immobility labour, long period initial among institution, use capital intensive technology, wide rural-urban migration
 Conclusion: is evident entrepreneurship education important Library Information Science students institution learning. training must reflect 21st century development field which influenced by emergence Technology, hence, have computer proficiency, familiarity metadata, database management application, web design, knowledge electronic resources services
